Wild cat is a small killer, native of Europe and western part of Asia and Africa. Wild cats are usually very sharp and active as compared to domesticated cats. Wild cats hunt small animals, birds or some other mammals of similar size. Wild cats are commonly of brown color with black strips. Wild cats are 50cm to 80 cm in length and 3 kg to 6 kg in weight. There are various species of wild cats in different regions. Some of them are Felis Silvestris Carfa, Felis Silvestris Caudata, Felis Silvestris Foxi, Felis Silvestris Gordoni, and Felis Silvestris Iraka.
Almost all wild cats are Carnivorous. At this point, the agreement of wild cat’s classification ends, but the trouble is that, nature does not recognize human ideas of classification. Cheetah is classified in another classification which is very different in appearance from all the other wild cats. Cheetah has also traditionally been placed in a separate genus. Although, some recent research on wild cats suggests that the difference is more apparent and clear than real. Cheetah has not only much resemblance with wild cats, but also are closely related to each other. So it can be arranged into groups which appear to be more closely related to each other than to the rest of the family. It does not follow that the groups are of generic status.
Nowadays, wild cats are classified into so many genera and at the same time, it merges distinct species into one. Some of the genera can be recognized easily, while others are classified into the status of sub-genera.
