Hairless cats are found in different countries, like Mexico, Canada and America. Cat’s hair does not born due to the atmosphere of the country or might be due to some other reasons. Hairlessness in the cats is a trait, which has been occurred in different places at different times. Atmosphere of France, Austria, the Czech Republic, England, Australia, Canada, USA, Mexico, Morocco, Russia and Hawaii, is very cold and due to the winter season, hairs of cats cannot born properly. Most of the cats are born bald in these countries and baldness occurs due to fragility of the hair.

The first properly recorded hairless breeds of cats were found in America in the year 1830. But later on, in year 1902, a couple from New Mexico received two more hairless cats from local Pueblo Indians, and it was also claimed at that time that these were the last survivors of an ancient Aztec breed of cat. At that time, it was also noted that the Mexican hairless cats were 25% smaller than other local shorthair cats. The size of hairless cats was very small and it seemed that this couple is a kitten.

Hairless cats are normally whiskered and seasonally coated. There are no fur and hairs on hairless cats and their skin is also plain and smooth. Female hairless cats are sexually mature, more than male hairless cats. Many years ago, most of the hairless cats were killed by the dogs and the owners searched for a hairless mate for the female. And in fact, this loss was avoidable at that time. In year 1903, the female hairless cats were sold as a pet and were exported to Britain.
